This two-day course is designed to equip participants with the tools and confidence to provide effective suicide intervention. You’ll learn how to recognize when someone may be thinking about suicide and how to offer a skilled and compassionate response. The training will guide you through developing a personalized safety plan and connecting individuals to ongoing support. Participants will also explore how personal and community attitudes about suicide can impact someone’s willingness to seek help. By the end of the course, you'll have increased your confidence, willingness, and ability to offer suicide first aid when it’s needed most.
