Cornerstone Heroes: BECOMING is the first class of a trilogy. (BECOMING, MOMENTUM, & VITALITY) This class is facilitated by Sara McAvoy, a Mom, a Spouse, an Army Veteran and the wife of an Army Veteran. Sara is a Counselor.
Cornerstone Heroes: BECOMING is a 1-year class that meets once a month from 10A - 12N. Class dates are 2.24, 3.23, 4.27, 5.18, 6.22, 7.27, 8.24, 9.28, 10.26, (no class in November/December), but a Graduation Luncheon is scheduled for January 11, 2025. All classes and the luncheon are free.
This class is open to our veterans, military, first responders, their Spouses and their Teens.
Who were you? Who are you now? Who do you want to be? How do you want to get there? We are excited to offer this trilogy for our 4th year.
This class is designed for a person going through a life/chapter change that welcomes guidance and peer support. While Sara will facilitate the monthly class, I will mentor those that would like a mentor. Sara and I work together so that we make certain we are supporting you throughout each month. In addition, we offer resources that you may find beneficial, too!
- Trauma, past or present
- Domestic Violence
- Sexual Assault
- Spouse of a Spouse that is involved with Veterans Treatment Court or in jail
- A person that feels stuck and would benefit from guidance and peer support
- Bereavement
- Serious Illness
- Terminal Illness
- Or simply because you welcome fellowship with a mission.
