Welcome to Upstate Warrior Solutions Family Services Sole to SOUL 2024!
***This is the last month that you may sign-up for Sole to SOUL 2024***
Sole to SOUL is a 9-month training to hike & camp a section of the Appalachian Trail. Sole to SOUL is a coed group made up of veterans, military, first responders, spouse, teens, & community partners and or fellow Nonprofit Leaders.
This is a 9-month committment. There are only 25 slots available. Here is what you need to know so that you may make the decision that is best for you.
Feb - July / The terrain, distance, and pack weight will increase for each monthly hike. We will hike at least once in a storm. We will hike at least once in the freezing cold. The goal is to prepare for all possibilities when on the AT.
There will be class time during lunch on the trail. For example, fire starting, survivor skills, hammocking, and more. The dates are TBD.
Each Sole to SOUL participant is required to practice independently outside of our monthly Sole to SOUL trainings.
Fees for the program are as follows. $150.00 for a single person with no B2L gym / $250.00 for a couple with no B2L gym / $300.00 for single person with basic gym / $450.00 for a couple with basic gym
Each monthly practice hike is scheduled out for the year. Each month, your hike will be lead by Charlie Hall and or a fellow Nonprofit Leader.
*Your practice hike and camp will take place in August at a location TBD.
